My friends and I had a little road trip last week. We start it off early in the morning and headed for our first stop – Jasna Lake. The view there is something you just have to experience it, the words can’t describe it. The green water, the mountains in the background and the piers make this destination even more beautiful.  There are plenty opportunities to take beautiful photos. 🙂

Of course we have to take a picture by bronze ibex. 🙂

The most beautiful place I ever did a headstand. 🙂

Our next stop was Planica zip line. Planica is the world’s biggest ski jumping hill. The zip line also has the steepest descend in the world, the whole ride is about 40 seconds long and you can reach the speed  of up to 85 km/h. Let me tell you it’s not that scary as it sounds. You have your harness on and the whole time you feel safe. The ride was such a wonderful experience I wish to do it again. 🙂

After Planica we headed for Arboretum Volčji Potok, but first we took a short stop at Zelenci, a nature reserve and the source of Sava Dolinka River.

Our last destination was Arboretum Volčji Potok. It is the most visited horticultural facility in Slovenia.  We were at the park the entire afternoon, it is huge. Besides all of the flowers and trees, there are also other exhibitions, like dinosaurs and whales.

In the park we also tried slacklining and failed 🙂 🙂

The trip was really amazing and it is even more special when you travel with your friends, because those memories will last a lifetime. It makes you think you don’t have to travel far to see all those beautiful places, you should explore and experience your own country first. 🙂
