Lately I’ve seen a lot of pictures of L’Oréal new Pure-Clay masks, so I decided to try them. There are three masks out right now:
- Purify and mattify treatment mask
- Detox and brighten treatment mask
- Exfoliate and refining treatment mask
Purify mask is the soft green colored and should purify, mattify and refresh your skin. It is also good for clogged pores. The mask consists of three pure clays and eucalyptus. To the touch the mask was very smooth ant thick.
Detox and brighten treatment mask is black colored. This mask is also smooth to the touch. The mask consists of three pure clays and charcoal, which should detoxify and illuminate your skin.
Exfoliate and refining treatment mask, is orange colored one and should exfoliate dead skin cells, unclog and tighten your pores. This mask compared to other two is like a scrub to the touch, which exfoliates your skin. It consists of three pure clays and red algae.
I tried all three masks and I like all of them. I only just started using them, so I can’t see much of a difference on my skin yet, but I can say that right after using them, the skin feels very clean and refreshed. I must say the consistency of the mask is very thick, so you need quite a lot of it to spread out on the entire face (the package says it should be enough for ten applications). The masks should be leaved on your skin from 5 to 10 minutes. You should use it two or three times a week. If you have very sensitive or irritated skin I don’t recommend using the exfoliating mask more than once a week. Overall I think that mask are great and are worth to trying out. 🙂 If you tried them, let me know what your experience with them was. 🙂 🙂
