I hope you had lovely holidays. Another year has passed, and now is 2017. I wish you successful year, full of joy, happiness, health and achievements. Do something this year that you always dreamed of, but never have the courage to do it. You can start today and write a new ending to your story. 🙂
This post will be a little bit different than you are used to. This will be my first “beauty” related post. In this post I will talk about my favorite skincare products of 2016. 🙂 🙂
First let me start with my skin type. My skin is very demanding. I used to have really bad acne, now my skin is pretty good, compared to what it used to be. I have really weird skin type. My skin is very sensitive, mostly really dry to the point where it could be flaky, but if I wear make-up it get super oily. I use products for both dry and oily skin type. Most of the product I use at night, because I don’t want to irritate the skin in the morning.
I wash my face with a few different products, but these are the products I use all the time.
L’Oréal Paris Skin perfection soothing gel-cream wash
This product is for dry and sensitive skin. I mostly use it at night. It’s really gentle on your skin and it’s perfect for sensitive skin, because it doesn’t irritate it.
Garnier Pureactive Anti-spot wash with vegetable charcoal
I also use this product at night. The wash is dark grey colored when you put it on and it’s foaming when you rub it on your face. This product is perfect for people with greasy skin and imperfections.
Garnier Refreshing cleansing milk
This cleansing milk is one of my favorites. It really is refreshing and the grape extract makes it really soothing and relaxing on your skin. It can also remove make-up. First I take my make up off with micellar water, than I use this milk to get rid of any remains. I also use this milk in the morning and after workouts, because it’s very refreshing.
Burt’s bees: Peach & Willow bark, deep pore scrub
This scrub is made only with natural ingredients. It’s one of my favorite scrubs. A lot of scrubs leave your skin tight after you used them, but not this one. The grains are made of peach’s pit, and it really gives you clean feeling after you used it.
Garnier Pureactive Blackheads uprooting scrub
This scrub I used for years and I still do. It is perfect for acne-prone skin and it really clean your pores. I use it at night, twice a week.
Eucerin Dermo Purifyer scrub
It is also for acne prone skin. On the package it says you can use it daily, but I don’t recommend it for daily use, because it’s very harsh. I use it once a week, when I want deep cleansing.
Scrubs I use twice a week, because I have really sensitive skin, so I don’t want to irritate it.
Now let go over the creams I use.
Garnier Moisture Match
I use these creams the most. I use the pink one, which is for dry to very dry skin, and green one, which is for combinational to oily skin. I use pink one mostly at nights to moisturize it during the night. The green one I use mostly in the morning and as a base for make-up, because it has mattifying effect. The textures of the creams are different, the green one is really soft to the touch to the point where it’s super calming to put it on. The pink one is more moisturizing.
L’Oréal Nutri gold Extraordinary face oil
I really like this oil, I use it at night to moisturize my skin. It does not leave oily look on your skin and it absorbs quickly. I have acne prone skin, but it doesn’t cause me breakouts.
Mixa Anti-drynes cream
I use this cream when my skin is especially dry. This cream is very moisturizing and is also hypoallergenic.
Annemarie Börlind Purifying care Facial cream
This cream is also for skin with imperfections and I really like it. A lot of creams that are made for acne prone skin, dry out my skin, but not this one. I use it at night after the moisturizer.
These are my favorite skincare products of 2016 and I am pretty sure I will continue to use them in 2017. 🙂
